I replaced my purge solenoid (the part up by the fuel cap) today an when i removed it i noticed dirt in the line that goes in to it. I reset my engine code an it didn't come back on yet. This dont seem good tho like the line is undone at the other end. Anyone got any advise?

So you were in the rear wheel well, right? That's the dirtiest place that line should be located. Trace it around and see if it's cracked.

When I replaced it I did trace it as far as I could an didn't notice any cracks.

Tough to tell you what's goingo n them. Only places it opens are to the fuel tank and evap valve plus the canister that you found.

Could it be debris from the Canister itself?
