What else do I need to do EXACTLY to get my boost gauge to light up at night? It has the red and black wire and obviously they are too short to reach my passenger side fuse box so do i buy like 6ft or 12ft of black and red wire? And hear about the add a fuse, do I splice anything or what? just need quick help, thanks.

Buy red wire. For the black (ground ) just find any bolt that threads into metal on the car. The entire chasis is a Good ground. If there is paint scrape some off. Buy an add a fuse and crimp the red to the section on the add a fuse or you can strip the insulation back and twist your red wire up with the add a fuse wire (Better connection )... then add your red gauge wire to the longer section of wire with the add a fuse.

The gauge fuse goes here. The stock fuse in the empty slot.

where did you hook up your boost line too exactly?
because i'm not 100% sure about where i hooked mine up too
Jenny, The '99 Silvermist GTP. With the mod's that matter.

P.S.... if you use something like a window fuse like I did you'll have power even after you turn the key to off until you open a door just like the power windows or radio. Don't use radio fuse or you'll need to install a switch cause the gauge will Always have both power and ground and never turn off. Battery drain.

    Best of luck.
