I need to pull the trans to deliver to someone for an overhaul and install a cam in my car.
With this I was going to remove both item from the car. I would like to know if I should go about pulling from the top or dropping out of the bottom. Which is easier?

Yes I know i could remove the trans and do the cam with the engine in the car, no i do not chose that option

for just the trans. Mr Boost had my old tranny out in 1.5 hrs.

but for a engine trans, maybe pulling it all out the top is better.

Mr. Boost has a write up detailing his favored way of pulling both at once.

Both can come out the top together almost faster than a trans can drop out the bottom by itself.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

I wish I had a hoist to pull mine out the top. It's out the bottom for me.
