There are 2 rings under the seats, pull them and the bottom comes off. After removing the botom of the seat there are 2 small nuts that hold the seat back into place at the bottom. After removing the 2 nuts the seat back simply lifts up and out.
be carefull not pull on the rings too hard or you will break em i did like 3 times, it doesnt take much, the back seat has hooks on it so thats why you lift it up.
wow so its that simple? nice...
I took out my seats last night and didnt have to do anything with the seatbelts
Must have been someting they changed between 97 and 03. Just like the 2 nuts your talking about, mine has 2 pieces that go around the seatbelt studs also.
yeah since I have an 03 Ive notices some small things that people talk about that I do or dont have. Makes things frustrating sometimes.
Yeah, like the orfice tube location for the a/c. on a 97, it's right below the master cylinder, easy to get to and starting with the 98's, it's further back towards the firewall. Heard it was a little tedious to get at.
Your gonna save a whole 5 lbs. wont even add up to a .001 of a second lol
