I have a 99 GP with a 3.1. I need to know if I can replace just the sending unit and where to get it if I can. Dont want to spend $250 just to fix gas gauge!

Yep, the sending units are sold on ebay. Not sure if it's the same as on my L67, but search "bonnieville fuel sender replacement" on youtube- there are 3 videos.

Actually, it's easier than the Hans video. Although that vid is priceless since he's totally trashed (as usual).

Rockauto sells them about $30. Lift out pump can, pop the wiring out, pop the new one in and clip it to the can. Put back in.

Parts house is uneducated folk. Get the part number off Rockauto and I bet the parts house can get or has it.

I've taught the locals a few things around here.
