    Got it...I think... Thanks!

    2 last ?s

    1) Why not weld the "top" of the down pipe (near the flex piece) to the cat as well? ie why not have the catted downpipe w/ rear O2 bung/cat/flex pipe all welded as 1 piece?

    2) When welding it, should I just use the very last piece (w/ the rear O2 bung) that comes w/ the pacesetters and I will have a 3" cat that bolts straight up to my 2 1/2" catback straight pipe flange, right?

You can get the CAT in and weld the bottom 2 pieces in the picture with the CAT anywhere in the middle. You just have to make sure the length is right, if you weld it too short it won't bolt to the Cat-back exhaust system.

I say only weld those bottom 2 pieces so you keep the 3 bolt flange for the header adapter, and the 2 bolt flange for the Cat-back exhaust.

You can also weld the adapter (pictured far right, middle), to the couplers, and the top coupler to the rear header. Just make sure you leave the crossover and use clamps for it, to make it easier to install. Everything else should bolt together.

Again, just make sure you do the proper measurements before welding. Too short or too long will cause problems.

That piece in the bottom right corner of the image used to be a resonator. At least it was when I got my PaceSetters. Just sayin.

    Ooh, that's what's different. I didn't have a cat.
