    My old gauge cluster got completely ****ed so I just took it out and bought a new one off eBay. As I was about to start connecting the new wires I noticed that there are two white wires, two pink wires and two green wires. All the same shade, none of them with a white or black stripe on it. How do I figure out which one goes with which?

    you cut your old gauges out? you know theres a harness right?

    I know there is but it was really hard to pull out so I just decided to cut the wires:\ I feel stupid about it now looking back

    i would feel dumb to, no reason to do that. now im not sure, do you have the old cluster still?

    go push the tab in, and pull your plug out of your old cluster, then solder it back onto your wires, then plug it into the new cluster.

    if you tossed your old cluster, ( and the plug) you kinda crapped in your own supper.

    ouch. if you tossed them you could go to the scrap yard find a junker and pull the ends off those cables.

    Let's not beat the guy up too much. Was it easier to cut the wires to remove the cluster? Yes. BUT, now it is harder to get it back in and working. Not the dumbest thing I've seen done on a car before and it can certainly be fixed w/ a little effort/input from us. We all make mistakes, just hopefully the OP will learn from this one and realize that taking shortcuts when working on a vehicle is not usually going to end well.

    I still have the old cluster that has the plugs in it but I'm not sure how that would help me since I would still have to figure out which white/green/pink wire went with which one. If someone has a list of what each wire does I could mix and match them and plug in all the wires I know until I get it working. Thank you!

    there are multiple wires of the same color in the same plug/harness?

    What is it with Pink wires?? LOL my engine harness was FULL of them!!!!!
