Will an ECM from a 1999 Grand Prix Fit and work in my 2003 Grand Prix? I know the computer service # for the 1999 is 09361735. Not sure what my ECM's number is cause I am not really sure where it is in car. Any one know if there compatiable?

Maybe try car-part.com Then you can be sure to get the correct year/code. Not sure on the cost.

On the 97-03 is the ECM the same wording for the PCM OR is there two different parts ECM & PCM?

Electronic Control module = Powertrain control module.

American cars we say PCM, and all those jap cars people say ECM. Ricers you know.

Actually CAM GM changed from ECM to PCM IIRC when they decided to control all of the power train instead of just the engine.

Because ECM means Engine Control Module and PCM is Powertrain Control Module.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
