so i pull up to the house and im sitting in the car for a sec looking at stuff and then for some strange reason something tells me to see if the rear defroster would work, and it did.. thats the first time it ever worked since i owned the car i even heard the relay click off and on.. then i decided to mess with the blower motor and of course it only works on 4 or 5.. and then out of no where i lost all power and the rear defroster wont work anymore.. so obviously a relay or wire is bad somewhere.. but where do i start?

Not sure about the rear defrost or if they are related, but the blower motor resistor could be going bad. When the resistor goes bad it can range from not working at all to full blast or nothing.

Could be your ignition switch, it is a common problem. Affects blower settings 1-4 and rear defrost. Another common symptom is the key sticking in the ignition. It is caused by carbon build up on the contacts. You can either replace the switch or clean the contacts. I cleaned the contacts, and now everything works. I am a newbie for DIY projects, but I could follow the directions and get it to work. Check out this link, it is a good write up with pictures:
