I have a 2006 Grand Prix with heater issues. It heats fine on the highway but any other time it doesn't get very warm at all. The thermostat has been changed and coolant is full - what else should I check?

You can try flushing the heater core out and bleeding the cooling system of all the air and see where you stand.

Past that, then it might be a blend door problem.

    markies,

I’m sorry you are experiencing this issue with your vehicle. “Fivefingerdeathpunch” offers some great suggestions, and I would have to agree with the blend door possibility.

Consider consulting with a certified technician for an official diagnosis. They will be able to offer more information after inspecting the vehicle.

Please feel free to contact me privately if you have additional questions or concerns.
