    Intake, headers, maintenance items. Tuning helps also.

    Some people have gotten there GTP's mileage around the mid to high 30's range, which is about what most "economy" cars get. Besides I'd rather take a car that's fast, effecient, and not rice lol.

    Wow really? I did'nt know that. -_-

    The only Grand Prix your going to get to run consistent 30+ MPG is a SE or a GT. Which by no means are even remotely fast. A GTP can run 30+ on the highway in a stock/mildly modded form if the conditions are right. But even then... is no where even close to 'fast'.

    The best way to improve your MPG for day to day, every day, every style of driving on any road is to buy a car actually made for that purpose.

    I think it was Ron Vogel's car that was getting high 30's highway before he switched to E85 and he was definitely not slow, but he did have a ****load of tuning done and some weight reduction which definitely helped quite a bit.

    Top swapped L36/L26 blocks keep their high gas mileage due to the high compression. That's always an option.
