Ok so tonight I was driving along and notice my heads up display had a message above the speed limit. I couldnt read what exactly what it said other then check and I couldn't read the last word...?? Have never NEVER seen that before!!
No other dash light are on... Did a google search and came up with pretty much nothing, and besides just asking people here seems to get better answers! :-)

The message also went away after a lil bit of driving... I dammn near rear ended a car trying to read it!! Haha

i dont recall 97-03 having messages in the hud, 04+ will tell you a bunch of ****

It probably said check gauges. I have seen my HUD say that with low fuel.

I only see it when the sun hits the HUD window just right that it says "check gauges" this light has never come on for me

In that case its just the sun. My clock on my radio went out a while back but if sunlight hits it I can read the time.

Its just the check gauges light thinger. I wouldnt worry about it. Mine will say that when its in the on position but I didnt start the car or if it stalls (which doesnt happen much).

You do in fact have multiple gauages on the dash as does every car
