I just installed a set of Bi-Xenon HID's in my '01 and I really like them, the low beams are amazing, however I feel that the high beams are slightly lacking and I am curious if it has anything to do with the angle at which the bulbs are installed (since the bulbs change position when you click them to high-beam).
On a standard halogen 9007 bulb the bulb mount is notched allowing the bulb to only go in to the housing in one position. With the 9007-3 HID bulbs you can mount them in any position that you want.
Is there a "preferred" position to insert the bulbs for maximum performance? Does it make any difference at all how they are placed in the housing?
Thanks in advance for any tips or tricks with these new lights!
