So after some much needed help from people on this forum I have figured out what upgrades are going on my 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix GT.

    First:
    Supercharger Conversion Kit from
    http://www.wbodystore.com

    Second:
    4t65e HD upgrade kit from
    https://www.zzperformance.com

    Third:
SLP™ Ceramic Coated Headers With The Installation Kit from
    http://intense-racing.com
Then to my local muffler shop to have them make me a 3" exhaust system from the header back to where the pipe Y's off to the mufflers.

    Forth:
Wizaired Cold Air Induction System from
    http://www.zzperformance.com

    Fifth:
    ZZP Modular Pulley System from
    https://www.zzperformance.com

I'll put some pictures up when I get some, plus if you have any suggestions let me know.

Plus if anyone knows a mechanic in Southwest Florida that can help let me know please.

So let me know what you guys think, and I will post info along the way as well as pictures.

Special thanks to Street Wolf for all the help, he is the ****.

You should do intake and exhaust mods before the top swap before you go blowing something up.

Don't see how it's going to matter either way he does it. It's not like he actually needs any previous mods before he takes on a top swap project.

Usually those who top swap and leave all else stock have to run a larger than stock pulley to keep knock down. The stock intake and exhaust are so constrictive couple with the higher compression of the L36 and it makes for a volatile mix. Seen too many failures from trying to cut corners.

Yeah, I'm pretty well aware what people do with a top swap, but it's not going to hurt anything doing the actual swap on a stock vehicle.

The 3800 Series II/III community is paranoid from all the 'Things they've heard'. These motors are a lot more durable than most people think. Hell, even Zoomer's ran a 3.0 pulley on a damn near stock car without failure back when the community was just getting started.

I speak from experience of seeing the failures. I'm top swapping too, so I'm well aware of it's popularity and viability. You just can't expect to throw a L67 top end on a L36 block and expect it to be alright without helping it out with the right mods. GM went to the trouble (and expense) of making them different for a reason.

You've got nothing to lose erring on the side of caution, but a lot of money to lose being gung-ho.
