    When I start my car up on a nice warm day I can still see white exhaust smoke coming out from the exhaust tips. It doesnt leave any white residue behind. The car seems to be driving fine. This white smoke doesnt really have me concerned too bad but would like to know whats going on?

    Anyone have any ideas?

    sounds like your burning oil its kind of a hit or miss type thing with 3800s out 2007 GT burned oil at 40K miles but my 1999 GTP doesnt at 176k miles

    they probably already replaced the LIM already on your 99 with the aluminum one it should only have to blow once before you do that and than you will get alot more life out of them

    the white smoke usually means coolant getting into engine and the usual culprit is what I had said to asite the LIM gasket tends to go out pretty early regardless of mileage just because the dexcool eats the **** out of them

    Smoke color

    Blue = Oil
    White = Coolant
    Black = Gas
    I'm sorry officer I didnt know I couldn't do that

    couldnt that mean you have a bad LIM gasket and oil/antifreeze is leaking through to the exhaust?

    Guys... N/A means it's not just the lim gaskets.. The UIM is the main problem.

    So in that case, I'd check the supercharger and tb gasket.

    I am Catless now since my header install.

    LIM gasket were replaced a year and a half ago so they are good but I will still check gaskets out.
