Hey i have recently come across a hissing noise that seems to be making my car overheat. i located the noise and saw a rubber hose leaking, now for the questions..
can this alone cause my car to overheat? Can I replace myself? Is it hard job? Im, sure there are other questions be be asked but I was hoping to get some help from the more experienced, thanks in advanced

The hose leaking is the one in the bottom with the white scuff mark on it,(the engine is to the left, radiator to the top)... Second picture the hose is on the bottom middle part, looks tiny in this pic. I can post a better overall pic if you guys need me to

That would be your Coolant elbows. A Quick search on this forum will give you a plethora of results and instructions on how to do it. I do not have the links handy, Others may. Its a Moderate job, But can be done my the average mechanically inclined individual.
