Judging by the location I'd say nothing. I have that plug on my 00 GT as well and nothing is connected to it, nor has it ever. Just for some option I don't have.

I had the same plug on my old GT.I believe it is for an L67 MAP sensor.GM decided to let it be in some GTs but it helps if you plan to top swap, its just plug and play considering you buy the MAP extension harness.

Map sensors are three wire. That's no map sensor. May have been the plug in for the Cali emissions soleniod.

Hmm its possible, but I know when i had an L67 MAP sensor the plug in my car plugged right into it perfectly.

The L36/L26 and L32 map sensor connector is all the same. A three wire with a purple seal (IIRC) around it for weather proofing. That connector he has is a two wire.

Annnnnt sorry Ride.. he's not a 97 like you are. Therefore he doesn't have a evap purge switch, only a single valve, which in his year is likely mounted on the front of the motor with a red two wire connector.

You can tell some about his year by the engine cover bracket in the pic. He's newer. Likely an 02.

Work on a lot of the same basic car. It also helps that I pulled a motor last night on a car with Cali emissions and the plug looks identical. My Bonne was a 97, that I 99 harnessed laster and found all the differences. Only years with the two evap pieces was 96 and 97 ... 96 the GP didn't get a 3800

Is there a difference between the 02 and 00?

I've seen more 02'a with the cali emissions than other years..but sure that plug could be on any of them.
