I am looking to install a connector that I can connect all my accessories to (CB radio, heated seats, GPS etc) so when I turn the car off they all shut off with it. car is a 1997 grand prix M/A does anyone know a good wire under the hood to tap for this, and how can I find it?

Why not look in the car? There's a power drop with something like a 15 or 30 amp. Sitting right on the passengerside.

No..pull the lower dash panel and look around. Sometimes it's taped to a loom.

I was able to drop the glove box down and reach in. My power drop was held in place with tape. It also had a sticker that said power drop and showed what wire was what.
