The stock deck has no AUX input for anything like a MP3 player or phone/ipod.

Most people will just go out and buy an aftermarket deck and buy the wire harness to keep there steering wheel controls.

This would be more expensive and complicated than just adding the pac unit.

If you want something cheap, get one of those FM transmitter things from wal-mart.

How is that remotely too complicated or too expensive. It's way cheaper than a new radio. You got the iPod/iPhone right? That's 150-300, unless Mommy or Daddy bought it for you.

The PAC setup is by far the easiest way to hook up your iPhone/iPod to your stock system and make it sound decent.

I guess you could always get a FM transmitter but your going to be shoving battery's in that thing all the time or running it off the cig lighter.

Just get the thing i linked in the Amazon link. Your steering wheel controls will still work with a stock radio even with the aux. Those other ones on that page are for aftermarket stereos.

You don't seem like a technical guy so plug and play like the amazon link above would suit you best.

Here it is again... Amazon.com: FM Transmitter Car Charger and Mount Compatible with Apple iPod / iPhone: MP3 Players & Accessories

You can't control the ipod with the steering wheel unless you go with a custom wheel button setup.

Your not going to be able to control it with the wheel unless you get an aftermarket radio. These just allow you to listen through your radio. Want to control it with the steering wheel get a new radio that supports iPods and the PAC harness.

Better yet go to a stereo shop and tell them what you want.
