There is a few threads on this in this forum.

I have ac delco special double platinums - ultra fine wire center

Wrong! We preach autolite copper plugs for supercharged applications! Spend $12 on a set of autolite 605 and call it a day check them every 3 oil changes and replace or regap if needed. Changing sparkplugs take all but 10mins to do anyways. Iridium isn't recommended for boosted applications plus cost more then $2 each plug that you will pay for autolites.

605's are too cold for a stock 3100/3800.

I have read the safely modding your 3800 thread and it says 103's for my 3.0 pulley but it also says hotter the better. Keeping that in mind, I'm running am XP cam, ported top end, headers, and intercooler. Can/should I run 104's if no KR? I thought the only reason to go cooler plug was KR prevention. Please correct my thinking of wrong.

    TIA,
    Slim

    Experiment.

If you can afford those mods, you can afford to experiment.
