It all started with a really high pitched squeaking off and on. Now its every time i go to brake, and then yesterday it would keep squealing even after my foots off the brake. Sometimes it would keep making the high pitched sound non stop until i swerve really fast and it went away. Do i simply just need new brake pads or do i have a bigger problem?

    New brakes.

Pads and rotors. Should take care of it.

Also grease the bolts/slides when you remove the caliper. Could be hanging up a bit.

Any suggestions on which types of rotors and brake pads i should get? I can't afford the whole f-body set so i was thinkin something from rock auto? I really don't have a lot of money but i could use some suggestions on which brands and types of rotors are good or bad because i have no clue. I just need something basic for all 4 rotors.

First, figure out if you need fronts or rears. No sense in doing them all if they dont need to be.

I buy napa parts and never have problems. Premium rotors (standard) and some good quality pads, like thermo quiets and adaptive ones are good pads. I'd say cost is maybe around 120-140 if you do it yourself and 250-350 if you took it to a shop.
