Had a code pop up yesterday while driving and when I got it checked it was p0401 which basically means that the egr isnt flowing enough. I did an hour or two of searching on the site and the web and most people say that if thats the only code(which it is) that its the map sensor. Im just wondering if anyone else had the same problem and if a new map actually fixed it.

I'd start by taking the EGR off and cleaning it out, then clearing the code and see if it comes back.

What do you suggest cleaning it with? Parts cleaner?

Ok, I was looking at the metal-type hoses coming off of it should I bother with those?
