Got a reman compressor, still need to buy the seals. I want to buy the dryer, oil, orifice tube, and freon all at the same time so I can take advantage of Advance's VISA promo code, but I can't seem to find information regarding how much r134a the system will take after I pull a vacuum? How many oz's should I get when I purchase the remaining items? I already plan to get 8oz of 150 PAG oil. When I swap out the compressor, dryer, and orifice tube I put the PAG oil in the compressor (turning it over to saturate it) and in the dryer, then vacuum it? The vacuum draws out moisture and such, it won't draw out the oil I just put in there will it?

The vacuum pump's sole purpose is to get rid of moisture that is trapped in the very air that is in the system the moment you break open the lines and allow it in. In a vacuum, water will boil at room temperature, so any moisture droplets will evaporate quickly in a pure vacuum. The oil will not.

So should I put 2oz of PAG in the compressor and the rest in the dryer or should I put some in the orifice tube?

It's a Delphi. I snapped the shaft trying to replace the clutch on mine, so I just unbolted it and used some wire to attach it to the cradle out of the way and put a bypass in. Now that I have a new compressor, I'm going to remedy the situation.
