18" downstream from the downpipe is the 'recommended' place to mount the oxygen sensor.

before the cat if you have one.

If your welding a bung in, just put it in the crossover pipe near the rear head, easy to get to and easy to wire up.

yea i gotta weld in a new bung, and is it really good to just shove in the crossover pipe? cuz if so holy crap would that be easier. do you just put it like right under the throttle body or? also FoSHO99 i was curious if you know of anyone over in that area with a tuner that could tune my car for me? im originally from that area and movin back soon once i find a job back there, my dad lives in wyoming,ia and i come back often.

I wouldn think that place would be very accurate? If youre running a cat I think right in front of it would be the best spot imo.... when I put my AEM in I put it right before the last bend in the downpipe of my headers...

yea deff not running a cat i have speed daddy headers with the catless dp. there alot like the slp with that nice lil low hangin u-bend in it. would it be good to jus throw it in there right after that u-bend on the down pipe or would you go right before the u-bend?

I went right before my bend... maybe other widebands are different but I dont think these are as accurate if they are right there in the crossover...

The front bank is not going to be much different from the rear bank, less likely to be a leak before the sensor and overall easier. You can do what you want but it's not going make or break you from 5hp.
