I finally got around to replace my washer pump thinking thats the reason why my washer fluids didnt work and the fact that when i got the car, the person previously told me the pump was bad.

Well i got the new one in, checked the hoses for any clogs (none), I blew into the electric connector, clearing any dirt and what not. Threw some water in the reservoir to test things out and nope, nothing happens. I tried 3 - 5 cycles, pushing any possible air through the hoses and still nothing works. Im frustrated and clueless.

What else can i do? I hate cleaning my windshield from bug guts and other debris all the time.

By the way, where would the fuse be for the pump?

Any solution to this? I'm having the same problem. Replaced the pump, still no juice. And I really need washer fluid since I'm out driving between 1-6 AM every day. I'll don't want to have to hand wash my windows every day.

Nope, i still have no solution. Does the "low fluid" light turn on when you start your car like every other light? If not, you also probably have no power to the pump. vsixer never got back to me about the plug, nor have i been able to find a grand prix in my area to look at to find where this mysterious plug plugs into.

No, the low fluid light does not come on. I only disconnected one plug when I changed the motor, and the only other plug close to there is the one that runs to the low fluid gauge. I need to pick up a multimeter to see if I'm getting power there. No other electrical issues for me.

What fuse would the pump run on? The wipers fuse maybe?

If it ran off the wiper fuse, then my wipers wouldn't work. But they run fine. I was kind of hoping it was that simple after replacing the motor, but no luck.

I haven't had time yet to work on my car to take pics. But I found the one above hope it helps. As far as no fluid, I had a car that after I checked the pump to make usre it worked, it ended up being the multifunctional switch on the column. Buy a used one as the are high new.

Did your wipers still work, and only the pump was non functional? Did you buy it used from Morad or someone similar, or was it a junk yard find?

The wipers worked fine, just would not spray fluid. I took a couple wires and tested the pump and it worked fine. I bought a complete steering column from a junk yard(gave $75 for it) and just removed the multifuntional switch and replaced mine with the junk yard one and problem was solved.

Had a car were only the thrid brake light worked. When you pressed on the brake pedal and it turned out to be the multifunctional switch on it to.

Put an order in today with Morad for the multi function switch. $45 including shipping. Should be able to install it this weekend when I do my struts.

There is a torx head screw that is pointed straight at the steering wheel which is a pain. I just used a bit and a wrench that fit the bit to turn it.

That's what the folks at Morad said - just use a bit and a wrench instead of the Torx head. They said it takes them 15, probably would take me 30. I can live with that, especially if it fixes the problem.

Just confirmed that the plug in the photo above, has no relation to the wiper fluid. I just looked under the hood of another Grand Prix, the fluid in that 1 works with the plug unplugged so its not that.

can u rewire the pump to a push button switch mounted somewhere by your steering column? and then whem you press it only the pump would turn on the you would have to turn the factory switch to make the wipers turn on, correct?
Honstly im cheap and i just want it to spray, dont care how lol
