    I've never heard of the regulator on the 04+'s going bad...maybe someone else can offer some insight?

    yes, and a old tooth brush to scrub it all clean if your not taking it off, open the butter fly and clean the back side as best as you can and as far back as you can, all the way around inside. i wrapped a rag over the end of the tooth brush to clean out as much black crap as i could while it was wet still with carb cleaner.

    ok, so now after a few weeks now the car is all of a sudden dying or actually decreasing the speed.
    i.e. going on the expressway up to 70 mph and then I just lose speed... stepped on the pedal and no RPM's went up.
    put it on neutral and stepped on the pedal and nothing I just watched as the speed kept going down.
    turned it off, then back on got some speed on it and then lose the speed again...
    what is it now? could it be dirty fuel injectors???

    Is your check engine light still on? Since the car moves now, have you gotten the code read?

    Based on slowing during acceleration, It sounds like it is going extremely lean. Have you checked for vac leaks?
