Is there any difference quality wise between moog chassis parts and the crap autozone sells? Seems like autozone balljoints last me a year and that is crap if you ask me. thanks

autozone/duralast brand is all white box items..
white box meaning that autozone gives the designs of the parts to a list of companies, whichever company makes the most for the least amount is who will be the supplier/manufacturer.
At advance we have moog because it is the best stuff to use. it lasts
I had moog rear sway bar links on my 97 GT, they were the shiz.
Hey mistakes happen, there are some idiots that work at any place, including my Advance. One of my guys put a core caliper back on the shelf the other day without even looking at the CORE STICKER on the box. Always check the item in the box before you leave, sometimes that stuff comes outta the warehouse like that and has nothing to do with the people in-store. One box falls off one pallet onto another while being transported and boom.
Yeah everything I just told the op was a lie. I'm such a ****ing liar.. All of us at advance are. I'm soooooooo sorry for leading all my customers astray every dam day with my lies.
And trust me, duralast parts, are not moog. I've compared a duralast ball joint to a moog and there is no comparison.
Oh but wait, I work at advance so I must be a ****ing liar.
For certain parts, there may be no lesser quality and the Duracrap may be the same. Personally, I've had enough Durasheet parts go quicker than they should, that the warranty isn't worth my time of swapping the part constantly.
Thats just it, depending on the part and the cost. Sometimes aftermarket stuff is all garbage, Like my axles i might get an extra month out of GM axles but i have to buy them.
Or my control arms are a better comparison. I bought the "better branded" control arms, they feel better in the car, but They also only last a day at the track and a week of being beat on the street regardless of brand. Its not worth the 100+ extra bux.
If you're going through ball joints that quickly, how are your front LCA bushings?
Every three months?
