did you upgrade injectors when you switched to e85?
And if I'm reading this right you've only done a downpipe, intake, plugs and thermostat.
So no plog?
And a 3.4 pulley?
I haven't done put the pulley on yet but I went up two sizes in injectors have a 160 tsat and went to 3 inch down pipe bak and 3 heat range colder plugs no plog yet,k&n cai, and ordering a zzp custom PCM
So your running 60# injectors and e85 on the stock tune? Put a 180 thermostat in it or even a stock one. Your running al 103's?
I assume u mean auto lite 103s and no I'm running ngk I can't remember the number and its running great
Ok and do I need a tune ASAP if I put the 3.4 on I have 0 k right now
Ok do I won't know until I do the drop and scan for kr
Put the pulley on and scan. That will answer your question
You kind of need to tune for ethanol, or buy a tuner, your car may be running right now because of the 30% or so larger injectors, but that isn't the right way of doing it. Once you get it tuned safely for ethanol and your injectors, then you can play with pulley sizes.
If you get a real tune for the E85 you could probably run the 3.4 pulley but i'd throw headers on if i were you too. Then you could go smaller still most likely.
While I am completely lost and confused by this thread... Here are some facts.
If you put e85 and 42# injectors in a stock gtp, you can basically run a 3.2 pulley without tuning and probably without exhaust mods.... and it would work pretty darn well. The stock tune on these cars is extremely underrated.
