Hey guys,
I'm pretty new to this forum so thanks in advance for answering my question.
So a few weeks ago, I was on my way home from work, and my coolant temperature gauge dropped. The engine had already heated up (there was hot air coming out of the vents) and the gauge still does its start-up movements so I know that the gauge its self works. When I got out of the car, I noticed that the radiator fans were going full blast also. Then I turned the car off, and restarted it (after filling up with gas) and it was a very hard start. It cranked normally, but I had put the gas to the floor, as if the engine was flooded. After talking with a few of my mechanic friends, we figured it was the coolant temperature sensor. So I replaced it, and life was all good for a few weeks. Today however, the car did the exact same thing.
I read another post about a guy re-wrapping some of his wiring under the hood and then this happening to him, but I haven't been under the hood for a few weeks (other than to do an oil change, but nothing involving wiring at all)
Just wondering if you guys have any idea as to what I should check for.
Thanks
