I know the elbow itself is not cracked. So its where it seals up. Would using some copper RTV around the elbow be a decent fix till it warms up? Or am I screwed again.

Sweet maybe Ill just tackle it this week then the ones I got are 6 months old. Its pretty much my own dumbass fault..... I was trying to fix a vacum leak at the T right by the passanger side elbow so I used some heat shrink for the time being...... Well the 1,000 degree heat gun I used was probably a dumb idea. You learn as you go I guess. Not sure if that was the cause tho.
Oh I already have an extra set so thats not the issue. Fixing sumthing that was just fixed 6 months ago is what pisses me off
Some people have had back luck with the Dorman elbows and say the GM ones are better. If the new ones leak again I might check into the GM ones.
Make sure you lube the o-rings and double duty would be to put a bead of gray not copper RTV around the the plastic part of the elbow before you install it.
