Why are headlights impossible to find at a decient price? The normal I have seen was $165.00 but with $44 shipping
Has anyone bought headlights that didnt rape you on the shipping?
Thanks

Try getting in touch with Ed Morad....He sells brand new lights with a lifetime warranty for around 200 bucks for the pair. It will be the last set of headlight you will have to buy.
webracin
I just bought some new ones from ZZP. I hope they are up to par. I just wish ZZP sold them with clear corners or black clear corners.
I bought a used set off another GP owner that wrecked their car for $100.00. I think the lifetime warranty headlights from Ed is probably one of the best deals out there.
How would you guy like a write up on how to restore your headlight? Like if they are all corroded looking or yellowed up. Is this the problem all of you are having?
No mine have actually cracked and faded i was looking at TSB's on alldata and found that it was from the lights being dirty and the heat of the light bulbs cause it to crack due to not being able to to disipate the heat.
MTXGTP, I dont know what kind of violations if any would be involved, but if you could post that TSB and any related information I would greatly appreciate it, but dont violate any rules or stuff like that.
I'll see what I can do to accomodate you. Ive actually made money restoring headlights.
i wont be able to get on till the 15th i dont think there will be any violations.
Awesome. I can wait.
If I dont forget about it bud, I surely will do that.
I'll try and get it up as soon as I can, but I got a lot of irons in the fire this weekend and it may be sometime during the week before I can get it up and done.
I can't remember what store I saw this in, but I think 3M makes a specific plastic headlamp restoration kit. Contains (probably nasty) chemicals and buffing pads for $25 or so... You might have to grind off the alignment pegs first though...
I will tell you, the reason I did a write up on how to restore headlights was that I spent possibly hundreds of dollars on those so called kits only to find out that each of them is a colossal failure unless the damage is extremely minor.
just wanted to pipe in here for the tsb's i have access to alldata to and it does not break any rules posting them so if you would like in a week or so i could post all the tsb's on the grand prixs
I think that would be a wonderful addition to the growing list of information here.
k i will get started on getting them all down then send them to you in a email ok.
