Is it possible for a bad EGR valve to cause knock? My most recent "solution" didn't fix my extreme knock issues (though it idles better) and I'm back to square 1.

I plan to try disabling the EGR via the PCM (by setting the min temp too high), and depending on how that goes I may just drop the few bucks on block-off plates from ZZP when I order my TB. I'm just not sure what's going on. Is it letting too much exhaust in? Not enough? Is this not even the problem?

The problem continues to get worse as it gets hotter outside. As soon as engine gets up near operating temp, knock on part throttle, mostly when TCC locked. Gets hard to cruise in 4th without knock, much less accelerate any.
