Car was struggling to start after being driven, then after starting for a sec would die. Battery is good, and there is spark. MAF was replaced a couple months ago. Im thinking fuel filter? Ideas?

Unplug the maf and double check it. I wouldn't shotgun a filter unless you know it's been neglected. Then I'd do it and test fuel pressure.
its a 2000 gtp
the car did start fine after sitting for an hour
I meant fuel pump btw, wasn't hearing it prime when car wasn't starting
Fuel pump will prime if the resistor is bad.
I'd bend the pin on the fuel pump speed resistor (85 or 86) and give that a try.
