When using these bolts, what happens to the items that use the exhaust studs and a nut? I can think of three...

    1. Engine lift bracket (sure, it can be removed and isn't needed for daily driving).
    2. Oil dipstick bracket.
    3. L36 passenger side mount bracket.

I only use the 1 stock bolt for the oil dip stick.

A little tip, I ALWAYS start installing the headers with a stock stud to hold the gasket in the right place. Once a couple bolts are in, I then remove the stud and replace it with a bolt.

What about the passenger side brace? I know the L67 doesn't have it, so you may not be able to visualize:

See the black bracket coming off the #1 primary?

I've seen where L36 guys left it off and ended up cracking the upper portion of the passenger side mount. Especially if you have poly bushings (like I do).

I would reinstall those also. You won't be able to easily see them anyway.

Sounding less cost effective if I'm buying a set (even of six only) so I can only use three or four.

Kinda the way I was...I got them and only used the ones for the front to make it look good, and replaced those knuckle scraping studs in the back...I still had like 4 left over.

I'll think about it. I was hoping a spacer the length of a nut was available to make these parts work (put the spacer between the head and bracket, then bolt through all three parts).

I just reused my stock studs + nut when installing my headers, made the job easy IMO...

    X2

though a few that came with my TOG's I used cuase they look cool.

For the rear, I kept the knuckle bushing studs cause I am still using them, that stupid bracket that hold the engine cover on and what two plug wires in a clip and the O2 sensor wire up...I still use that bracket, thats what I have my nitrous solenoids mounted to.
