    long story short.

at the last meet i noticed water dripping onto the topside of my rear header, i made a small puddle under car after driving 2 hours(all highway). it seemed to be coming from aluminum hoses bolted onto the firewall.

the AC drain plug was checked and was clear, it wasnt rain it was generated from the car. im thinkin evaporator core maybe?

inside carpet is bone dry, no coolant smell inside,

    im stumped
any ideas suggestions would be super appreciated,

i had a similar problem, the insulation on the fire way was all wet and dripping on the exhaust. thought it was the heater core, but turned out to be a bad heater hose, it was leaking at the core tube, but was leaking down the wall and dripping out the bottom, top of the fire wall was dry. bottom was soaked.

my wind shield was fogging up so thats why i thought core till i found the hose was all fvcked up at the end of the hose.

and the hose of my car (a regal) was a double sized hose, smaller at the alt bracket, and fatter for the heater core. no one had one for it really. the guy at autozone let be walk the hose isle till i found one i could make work.

i had my car there with the heater core blocked off ( just looped one hose around back to the alt bracket) so i could test fit hoses, over and over again.
