    wanting to go open cone was told i can pull apart my MAF tube and put the sensor inside the cone....well it looks something like this...and definately doesn't come apart...or it doesn't want to.

    Why would you put your maf sensor inside the cone?

    Are you meaning IAT sensor?

    Maf should stay in that tube unless you want to do a lot of tuning putting it in a different size pipe. It calculates the amount of air coming in and putting it in a different size tube will throw it off a lot.

    exactly what i thought....was talking about it in chat last night about going open cone and was told i could pull it apart to stick it inside the cone...i think ima just leave my setup as is.

    oh and i don't have an IAT in my intake tubing from what i see this is the only sensor along the way
