Sure it has some valvetrain noise. I wouldn't be worried about that though. It's common to our motors.

Sure pulled hard today....
Treat the crankcase with seafoam in the oil along with seafoam in the brake booster line and gas tank. Then after, change your oil and put some synthetic in.
a little sound is normal yes but thats too loud for only 87K on those heads? id check it out man. personally id pull the covers but i guess if you're not getting any check engine lights and it pulls hard then its ok.
the 10w 40 isnt a bad idea either to see if it quiets a little bit.

Never said the heads had 87K on 'em.
The bottom end does.
Why would a thicker oil which cannot travel through the oil passages as well result in a quieter valve train?
Would not thinner oil provide that?
