Thread: Looking for extra power at the drag strip

well next week im going to great lakes dragaway, theres going to be alot of ricers from around my area going and i would like a little extra insurance that im gunna lay the smack down to most of them.

What im getting at is my next check i have no bills and i was going to buy a s3 intercooler core with that check. but in light of the news about them going i was wondering if the zex nitrous kit was really worth the money.

and if it is how do i go about tuning it do i always gotta run rich at wot whether im spraying or not?

Heh. Assuming a 100 wet, I'd pull 2 degrees of timing, and datalog thru HPT. No KR, then pill it up...

If its ricers...and you have all these mods now...I'd go to the track with a full tank of gas and leave the stereo in there...not like you REALLY need to go faster...ya dig breh?

But if they are boosted tuners, then this is necessary and in some cases may not be enough.

Someone whose run E85 before? Do it and scan. ***** won't knock.

There's only 2 I'm worried about a saleen focus and a scion they are both boosted and fast

yea but they are not stock, with my old setup they got me from a roll, im prolly even with the swap to e85 and my 3.2.

im still going to try and drop to the 3.0 and see what happens im just looking for a little extra insurance. cuz haters gone hate on the prix no matter what so the badder the spanking i can give em, the less their mouth opens
