On my 99 Gt the driver info center is so dim I can't read it. My question is can I change a bulb to make it brighter or is there another way to make it brighter. Any help would be greatly appreciated

There are a couple bulbs in it, there is a write up floating around on how to change them, I am going to move your thread to gen tech and rename it to get ya some more hits.
dont belive so I have mine sitting on the bench and can look tomorrow if I remember
read through this and you should find your answer. http://www.grandprixforums.net/addin...3-gp-8171.html
Ya I read that one already but nothing says if its bulbs or all internal lighting. The car is completely stock except the $300 CD player but no wires were snipped or anything so if it IS bulbs that would be great
Yep..just pull off the dash bezel, the DIC is just held in by two push in clips, one on the left side and one on the right side. Remove the harness on the back of it. Then you need to take the cover off of the DIC. Its just got some prongs that hold it there. You'll see the little square cutouts on the outer cover. Take a little screw drive or whatever you can find and push those plastic prongs down, gently. When you remove the cover you'll see this.....
The three bulbs on the right are the ones you'll need to replace (one of the bulbs in this pic is already missing). No wiring needed, no tools needed (except to push down the prongs on the cover)
