    new here, and I need help with a problem with my fuel gauge. It either reads full or empty, no in between.

    search "fuel level sendor"

    Its a part on the fuel pump that over time wears away and no longer makes contact with the sender unit. Its a simple fix for someone who is a little handy it cars. Pull the pump, replace part and re-install, search it and read up on it.
