There are plenty. Just not for a reasonable price. I will never be able to justify $150+ each. Not even on the pro touring car.

    don't care.

    must make.

Must do 2" primaries and true duals.

Must do tubular engine cradle with SFC's to connect to rear subframe...

Must do custom LCA's with proper front bushings and adjustable length for BJ and alignment purposes.

Must do custom adjustable sway bars.

She's getting a Chris Alston triangulated 4-link rear and front subframe, all C5 stuff up front. QA1's, del-a-lum bushings LS6 cam+intake/patriot heads 5.3 truck motor to a TCI 6x tranny with the paddles. It'll be a runner. Doing 1.75-2" stepped primaries out to an X and dumps. Good thing it's a father-son thing. No way I could bankroll that alone haha.

I was all for this until I saw 5.3 truck motor. Your doing all this... why not get a LS... motor.

Back to topic why true duals???
If its for the "Yeah, MY front wheel drive NA 3800 has true dual exhaust and yours don't" thing... you need to come back down to reality.
If its to be unique I can respect that, but you need to know that unique is often more costly than worth while.

Keep in mind, like Billboost said in regard to his HIGHLY modded SSEi Bonneville. Most mods that are done right and made to look factory aren't recognized by 99% of the majority populous. People just don't take notice of things like that.

A 5.3 is like $500 bucks, an LS1 is around $1200. LS1's get beat on, a smaller truck motor has less chance of that. It's an LS variant, just iron block. It's also a 327 original car, and we're sticking with that theme.

Back on topic, It is rarely worth it to reinvent the wheel. This platform is 15 years old now. Very little is left in uncharted territory.

The last time someone belted the phrase "Pro Touring" at me was in '93 at the Hot Rod Street Machine Nats in Akron, OH while we were giggling at an Orange Burrito GT with a chromed LTx sporting twelve miles of intake tubing and rainbow brite ZZ Top inspired graphics sitting on steamrollers mounted on convos... Oh, and grey tweed...Lets not forget the tweed.

    This is pro-touring.
A car that handles, stops, and accelerates with modern performance cars, or better. Usually have some creature comforts.
