    so i got my car running again but now my car dont seem as fast and my boost gauge dont go more than half and its smells like its running rich and the alt belt keeps braking any clues on what could cause that?

    what was done to the car? what amount of boost were you at before? Are your pulley's aligned? make sure all spin freely.

    You're actually breaking belts?

    One of your pulleys is locked up is what it sounds like to me.

    agreed, or if the alternator itself is, then you have a dead short

    i fixed the belt thing the crank bolt loosened up and the harmonic balancer was lose now its not breaking the belts but i still dont get full boost
