What else should I do while I do it? Coolant elbow, thermostat housing gasket, what else????
|
That's about it besides a oil change and coolant flush shortly after your done. Don't know that I would mess with the tstat gasket either but its cheap enough and easy enough I guess. And I assume you know to get the upgraded aluminum LIM gaskets and not the plastic ones?
no i dont know. how and where? at autozone they have two different fel-pro kind. one thats rubber and plastic and the other is some fancier kind that comes with o-rings for the injectors, some other o-rings and the tstat gasket.
no, just get them from rockauto.com or something. i think most parts stores have them as well.
just get the fel-pro kit, your coolant elbows, and make sure they haz everything you need like all the little o-rings and what not.
ok i see the one that comes with all the o-rings and stuff. but it doesnt say if its aluminum or not. thats y i didnt get it from autozone. so the fel pro "permadry" is the aluminum one?
possibly.
