Thread: Top of door gasket?

I need some assistance.
I'm not sure what this is called or I would have searched for it. I tried but failed in words I could think of what it might be called.
Anywho, as you can see mine is cracked and needs replaced. What is this "gasket" called and I'm assuming the dealer may have it? Also, how would one go about taking it off?

It is a dealer only item. Iirc, it was about $60-$70 when I replaced mine. You need to pull the rubber bulb weatherstripping out from underneath it that runs across the top of the window. You will see the screws that hold it in when you pull the weatherstripping back.

I just looked it up on gmpartsdirect. Look under the door tab, then exterior trim. It is called a reveal molding. $60.73 for the coupe.

i belive the mirror needs to pulled away to get at the lower screws, the door panel needs to come off for this

We need to replace the window motor and speaker in that door anyways. So what better time to do that. But dang...thats salty

So I looked at gmpartsdirect.com and I do not think thats what I need based on looking at their illistration (to me that picture appears to be the plastic pieces surronding the outside of the window). I need the inside gasket on top of the inside edge that seals against the roof when the door is shut.
The picture I posted is of the inside of the door.

It's all one piece. The strip that is hanging loose on your door is part of the reveal molding.
