When making sharp lefts under speed the engine struggles and makes a weird sound like a belt is slipping or something, any clues?

When you say it struggles, that could mean a lot of different things to us. Please describe that better....does it nearly stall, engine rev but doesn't move, does a belt slip and is that causing the issue, is your power steering pump nearly empty and being overworked?

I struggle daily...with trying to figure out what is posted Little humor while you get back to us.

Hard to describe, makes a racket like a chain or belt is slipping, never does it straight line or turning right, its weird.

It mainly happens when i make sharp left turns with my foot on the gas.

I will check the power steering fluid level though.

Hard to describe on a written internet forum makes it necessary for you to go take a video. I know..but if you could describe it..you wouldn't have gotten additional homework.

Your latest post makes me think of a binding CV joint.

My first thought is that you have damaged suspension/steering component(s) and are rubbing on corners.
However Bill has a good point, describing a sound is hard to do with any accuracy. Other things that come to mind is a spark plug wire with a bare spot, and a bad CV joint.

Ten years of continuous driving excitement and counting!

Just to throw it out there, check your power steering fluid level. The pump will whine if it is low.
