Like everyone else said, if your going big, go turbo. Cash for top swap then other mods to get up in your desired hp range, your looking around turbo or more. Not including wrench time. Also, if your doing that much hp, you need a beefed up tranny. Your stock tranny won't last long. Triple Edge Performance is your answer. So you could get by with a turbo kit for 2500/3000 depending on turbo, then roughly around 2000 high ball on tranny.

Did the guy not say hes not looking for big power just something more peppy and good exhaust sounds.Id say if you're staying N/A just make yourself an intake,headers, tune,Hv3, and rockers.Thats only about a grand worth of stuff that will make you plenty faster and maybe get you close to 200whp.Then add mufflers

You're right...he did say that but then he added that 100 hp range he'd like to be in. That's why I said if he's looking for that kind of power then goin turbo would the likely way to go. I was trying to get him to understand that he's not going to get too many more ponies out of an N/A 3800. What you listed is all I plan on doin myself to my N/A.

HV3 that is what its called. Wasnt sure. Anyway that too. These guys know what there talking about. Those mods will keep you smakcking down most ricers. My opinion is handling and apperance still

Yea true.Only if N/A 3800 had a lil more aftermarket support,oh well.Its either make 200whp N/A, top swap with a 3.4 setup and make 250whp, or turbo and make 300whp+.

You can get that done with mufflers. Thats easy just gotta dig around on here and see what most the guys prefer.
