    Who in New England has a FWI? I only ask cuz i wanna know if any of you guys ever ran your FWI during the winter

    i did with no problem. took it off and went to a cone on the end of some pipe but it worked fine while i ran it.

    I run this setup all year round. 3/4s of the filter sits inside the fender.


    The IAT's get pretty cold in the winter so I tune/pulley the car accordingly.

    I ran an open cone all winter no problem.
    2001 Grand Prix GTP - Daily Driver12" front brake upgrade ('05 Monte), Raptor tune, Open cone, Front and rear strut tower braces, SS brake hoses, BMR trailing arms, ZZP 3" catted downpipe, Dorman front sway bar, GMPP rear sway bar, solid trans and engine mount, flipped dog bones and Borla exhaust.

    I did for a few years. On the Bonneville I have ...the filter hangs in front of the tire in an uncovered, unprotected area. never had an issue.
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
