Anyone have an idea what causes the A/C to be ice cold on passenger side and luke warm on drivers side?? I have dual climate controls set to the cold position with a/c on..... i'm stumped.

sometimes its because your a/c is low on freon or "R" whatever these days, and that causes it, or it could be the blend door actuator. do a search on your title and theres a bunch of threads already with part # and photos.
HVAC stands for "heating, vacuum, air conditioning"
if the evaporator is on the passenger side on these cars, it's very possible you're low on refrigerant (R-134a). also as scotty said, could be a blend door actuator. seeing as how your car is roughly 10 years old and probably hasn't had any sort of maintenance on the a/c system, you're low. take it to a shop, they'll charge it, fill it with dye, and you can go back if it stops working and they'll find your leak.
if it's a blend door, you're looking at taking your dash apart. sounds like a great afternoon. mine's getting stuck on heat and blowing hot air on my feet all the time. i need to fix it before my foot fights back
These are the two things I'm debating on. Taking it to the shop next week sometime I will post what I find out. They most likely said it was a blend door actuator which is controlled by a vacuum said the hose could have fallen of or have a crack.
most likely the blend door actuator then
