The horn stopped working in my 2006 GP. I brought it to the shop and they replaced both horns at a cost of $272. That was just 3 months ago, and now it has stopped working again! Does anyone know of any common problems that I should be looking for? I had the cruise control replaced about 6 months ago and I am inclined to think that the horn wiring in the steering column was messed up at that time.

Check the fuses first..since that's the easiest thing to do. If the fuses are fine, take it back to the shop, and tell them that the problem that they fixed, has occured again.
Since it's been such a short amount of time, they should do it for free.

Check the fuses, then check voltage to the actual horn while someone else presses it. Also that's too much for a horn. Horns are cheap, and easy to replace, like $15-30 bucks or so. Never spend that much on a horn again. :P

But horns are two pieces, so it's unlikely both broke at the same time, which points more towards your wiring/fuses.

Not to be redundant but check the fuse. If your vehicle is the same as mine it should be located on the bottom right side that is a 15amp fuse and is between relays.

Thank you all for the response to my 'no horn' message. The horn is working now and didn't have to return to the shop. I just took the fuse out, it looked fine, put it back, and the horn started working. I'm just going to leave well enough alone and not investigate any further. For now I'll just keep my fingers crossed on this one. Thanks again.
