Here's the issue that I am having: 97 Gp GT N/A, dies out right after I start the engine. Press in the gas pedal lightly and it will run until i release it and it dies out...after multiple attempts it will seem to cooperate with me until I get to my destination, and then the battle begins again. So far there is no SES light nor codes popping up. Here's what I did to it thus far: the car is completely stock (for now), replaced the lower intake manifold, plastic (P.O.S) plenum AND correct gaskets to the car, cleaned out the throttle body because it was caked with buildup (sprayed the choke cleaner on rag and carefully wiped the insides the best I could), and replaced the IAC. After researching online I have seen that many are having just about the same problems I am having and the solutions bounced from the TPS sensors, MAF sensors down to the crank sensor, and what I want to know is if anyone had an experience in this and a solution for this issue. BTW, the car has a good 145k miles to it and other than this issue the car had been good to me.

My wife's '04 GP was having similar issues recently. I was able to correct this with a new fuel filter, a bottle of fuel system cleaner, a throttle body/intake cleaning, and a cleaning of the MAF sensor. All were done at the same time, so I don't know which was the fix... If you haven't yet, grab a can of MAF sensor cleaner and hose down the MAF sensor - cheap and easy... and prob could use to be done anyways

Seems fuel related. I'd check the maf sensor and or fueling system.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

The fuel systems on a 97-03, are very different than the 04-08. So fueling problem fixes/symptoms can get all corn-fusing. I agree it seems fuel related. The first item I would check is the fuel pump resistor.
